We are looking for a talented video editor and graphic designer to assemble and edit recorded footage into a finished project that matches the director’s vision and is suitable for publishing. Ultimately, as a graphic designer and Video Editor, you should be able to bring sight and sound together in order to tell a cohesive story. Roles & Responsibilities:
- Select and edit film pieces in a way that is invisible to the audience
- Take a brief to grasp the production team’s needs and specifications
- Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the video according to the script
- Operate computer editing systems and equipment used for video media and effects
- Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running and create rough and final cuts
- Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry’s best practices to maximize efficiency
Skills Required:
- Creative work experience as a graphic designer & video Editor
- Establish a clear understanding of the storyline and purpose of the video’s creation
- Ability to shortlist footage and arrange it shot by shot as per the script
- Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages (e.g. Adobe Photoshop, Corel Draw, Premiere Pro, After Effects and Final Cut pro)
- Expertise in editing music, dialogues, color correction, special effects and compositing elements of video editing
- Ability to multitask and work toward several milestones on various projects simultaneously
- Good understanding of color palettes suitable for color correction or DI process
- Ensure the correct formatting and presentation for finalized videos according to client’s specifications
- Bachelor’s degree/diploma in film editing, graphic designing or related degree is required
Experience: 1 Year+ Monthly Salary: 10,000/- INR Work details: 8 hours working, 5 days a week
